This men's or women's necklace features a focal bead handmade in Nepal. It's of natural yellow resin enclosed in hand-engraved brass caps, and measures about 3/4" in diameter. The slender necklace strand is of antiqued brass ovals, hematite cylinders and discs, and muted brass-colored glass beads. The coloring of this necklace is soft and earthy, with a livening splash of lemon yellow. The length is 18 1/2", closing with a vintage, high quality, brass clasp.

Hematite is most often used for grounding and protection. Some use hematite in the corners of a room to provide a protective surrounding. It is also used to support logical thinking, self-confidence, and anxiety relief. Physically, it has been used to treat blood illnesses.
