This is an exquisite piece! The pendant is a richly-colored rectangular stone of serpentine jade. It almost looks like a little forest scene, with a base color of light olive, or mossy green, and marbling in darker green and brown. It is flanked by sterling silver accents, and beautifully complements the necklace strand of faceted, red-orange aventurine rondelles. The color is luscious, and when worn, is so eye-catching. The length of the necklace is 16 1/2" to 17 1/2", closing with a sterling clasp and decorated extension chain. The thickness of the necklace strand is about 3/8", and the pendant is 1 1/8" wide, by 1 1/2" long.

The earrings are petite, about 3/4" long. The aventurine stones are topped with petaled sterling caps and olivine crystals, and suspended fron sterling silver leverbacks. You can buy the necklace separately or as a set using the drop down menu.

Serpentine Jade is said to attract and manifest abundance, prosperity, love, and healing. Named after serpents because of its sometimes scaly appearance, it is associated with movement. It is also said to enhance meditation and the memory of dreams.
